Rock Art

Hey this is Ashlyn. Here is this really cute and fun craft that you will love!

You will need  a piece of cardboard, small rocks, construction paper, and a hot glue gun.

First cut out a piece of cardboard ( it could be any shape or size) and trace it on the piece of construction paper. cut out the construction paper.

Now glue  the paper to the cardboard.

Look at the rocks and move them around. Try to find shapes and things. I found a butterfly.

When you are happy with your rocks, glue them on to the cardboard.

Let it dry. If you want, press some flowers and glue them on too.

5 Tips For Drawing

Hey guys this is Ashlyn. I love art. Drawing, painting, whatever. Most of my papers at school have doodles all over them. Here are some tips to drawing that I have figured out while drawing.

   1. Look at pictures of the thing that you are drawing.
You can just google what you are drawing and
push images.

2. For drawing things like people or animals, you can look
at Barbies, baby dolls, American girl dolls, or stuffed animals.

3. Look for shapes in the thing that you are drawing.
For example, in a rose, there is a half heart shape
like this.

4. Use lots of different things to draw like markers, pens, crayons,

chalk, pastels, colored pencils, pencils, or charcoal.

5. Doodle alot! The more you practice, the better you get.

Pom-Pom Pens!

Hey this is Ashlyn. I'm going to show you how to make theese super cute Pom-Pom pens.

Before you begin, you will need a hot glue gun, scissors, embriodery floss, a pen, and fabric strips.

First you will need to cut up the fabric strips so that they are  about two inches long. (you can make them longer)
You will need 15 to 20 little strips.

Now tie the strips together with the embriodery floss and cut the ends off.

Then you want to make it poofy by squishing it or throwing in the air a few times.

Now take your pen and put hot glue on the end.

Put the pen on the pom-pom. Let dry.

You are done!  Hope you like it!
